Water is so absolutely essential to life on Earth that every aspect of human culture and every artistic discipline, as well as mythology, folklore, fairytale and legend — have naturally addressed it.

With Water, Water Everywhere: Paean to a Vanishing Resource, a touring new-media exhibition, we aim to look at various creative endeavors that consider the world’s water crises. We’re now introducing this poetry and short prose blog. Most are contemporary works. Please click on “Water Poetry & Prose,” to the left under Categories to read the growing collection. We will post as often as possible.

We invite writers and artists everywhere to send their poems, short prose and artwork (including media) to us at baksunarts@aol.com (Subject: Water Writing) for possible inclusion on the blog. Please include a very brief bio.
